Terms of Service

By using PlowDesk you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.

What PlowDesk is

  • PlowDesk connects homeowners with independent snow removal companies, and gives those companies software to run their business.
  • PlowDesk is not a snow removal company. Crews listed on PlowDesk are independent businesses, not PlowDesk employees.

For homeowners

  • Sending a request is free. Nothing is booked until you and the crew agree on the price and the work.
  • The crew is responsible for the work it performs, its prices, insurance and licenses. Please confirm the details directly with the crew.
  • Reviews must be honest and based on real service you received.

For snow companies

  • You must give accurate information about your business, service area and prices.
  • Plans start with a 14-day free trial. After the trial, your plan renews each month until you cancel.
  • Cancel any time through the support chat on any page or by e-mail at hello@theplowdesk.com. Your plan stops at the end of the month you already paid for.
  • If PlowDesk does not work for you in your first paid month, contact us within 30 days of that charge for a full refund.
  • You are responsible for your crews, your customers and the work you perform, including any taxes you owe.

Acceptable use

  • Do not use PlowDesk for anything illegal, to post false information or fake reviews, or to harass anyone.
  • Do not try to break, overload or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • We may suspend accounts that break these rules.

No guarantees

  • PlowDesk is provided "as is". We work to keep it running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free, or that a crew will be available for every storm.

Limitation of liability

  • To the extent the law allows, PlowDesk is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the work, conduct or pricing of any crew or homeowner. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid PlowDesk in the last 3 months.

Changes and contact

  • We may update these terms. If we do, we will change the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use PlowDesk means you accept the new terms.
